Experiment in #jam #peaches and #aroniaberries with sugar, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and a little freshly ground pepper. I just made a small batch to see how I like it. And the verdict? YUM! #localfood #StarFieldFarm

These grow just outside the guestroom at #StarFieldFarm I’ve always wondered what the berries were and if they are edible. Today I found out they are aronia, also known as black chokeberry and they are edible and are higher in antioxidants than blueberries! #localfood #forage #therewillbejam
