A shot of the back patio at #StarFieldFarm About 6″ of snow so far. I suspect there will be significantly more by morning. The dogs are not happy about the woomph when the roof sheds its snow weight. Otherwise, all is peaceful.

It’s been almost 3 years now that we’ve had #StarFieldFarm — 3 winters of stacking wood and splitting kindling. There is something about this place that makes me whole. When I come down to the kitchen tomorrow morning, the house will be chill and silent. I’ll stir the coals, feed the stove with kindling — a little at a time — and wait for the welcome and comforting warmth before sitting down with a cup of coffee and a side of #gratitude
